Just about every author, publisher, and reseller has to deal with marketing and advertising in some form or another. Making it an easy step requires but only a few items such as highly effective methods and products designed to help you advertise, promote, or market your eBook. some of these most simplest of ideas may help you the most or even the most inexpensive products can produce greater results!

Introducing your eBook to the market can be done in several ways.

  • Have an up-to-date website built for this eBook or product.

  • Make sure your website is admitted to and listed on several search engines.

  • Create a sales page or sales page for this eBook or product.

  • Target some additional keyword rich articles and allow your readers to access them from your website.

  • Set up an email list through your website or a group list site. You can use bravenet, yahoogroups, or even google groups for this!

  • Come up with a FAQ about this eBook and product.

  • Advertise in other email list groups for FREE or cost.

  • Advertise your eBook and website for that eBook in your signature. Include it with every email or conversation that you have.

  • Have handy some business cards with your eBook, contact, and website listed. Always carry them with you or in your vehicle at all times.

  • Advertise in your local and any citiy(ies) newspapers.

  • Offer a Bonus to your eBook. Either a FREE eBook, FREE gift, or even special addition or product with any purchase.

  • Sell your eBook on auction sites or auction stores.

  • Offer your eBook as a trade with other authors, publishers, individuals, or anyone that can grant you the same.

  • Choose your correct settings and offerings for the eBook. Choose to allow printing, changing of the eBook, adding comments to, security settings, copyright signature, rules/policies/procedures, set your prices (lowest it can be resold at, regular price, and minimum price for sale), offer the eBook as a resell, and/or ISBN number to be included. Some options allow for flexibility, while others may seem to limit access to your eBook. Choose wisely!

  • Line up some interviews or reviews for your eBook. Some places will charge, while other will be FREE. 

  • Gift your eBook to the local library.

  • Find affiliates or individuals willing to advertise, promote, market, or gift your eBook to others. Consider offering an affiliate program.

  • Don't just stop at one eBook. Get out there and create another and another, and cross promote your products and eBooks.

  • Consider creating Hand-Bound Books from your eBook to sell, gift, or distribute.

  • Contact a publishing or media about an advertising package, distribution rights, and more.

  • Visit chat rooms with that are based on your eBook subject information and direct them to your website. Doing this if asked or subtly is the key. If you just jump into any room and type it out, then you will loose precious customers.

  • contact local businesses with a similar theme to your information and see if they would be interested or at least interested in passing along the information to their clients.

  • Join a club and bring up your work.

  • Use your car to advertise your eBook, get a magnetic graphic made and post it where it will be seen as you drive anywhere!

  • Contact writer's guilds, organizations and groups to introduce them to your work. Join them at your discretion and participate as much as possible.

  • Get an award for your website, there are many who still do this today.

  • Enter in any contests or prize offering websites.

  • Write keyword rich articles that others can use on their websites.

  • Write an advertisement suitable for any media.

  • Search for any specific websites, groups, or businesses that may list NEW eBooks to the market.

There are so many ways you can market, advertise, and promote your eBook. No one person could produce a single list of them all. You can also find many eBooks on marketing, advertising, and promotion of eBooks. Here is a small list of titles that you might find useful:

Don't be afraid to look further on the internet for more interesting eBooks and software packages that may help you further. Some of the top guru's have their own expertise and experience to share with some top dollar eBooks. In most cases, you won't need to fork out a lot of cash for an eBook since many have this information FREE or for lower cost. Be inspirational, creative, and don't settle for less that what you want. eBooks sales are generated when word of mouth spreads. Catch a few waves, utilize the most efficient methods, and devour any and all marketing, advertising, and promotion eBooks, information, and articles on the web. Don't let that eBook sit and not make you a cent!
